These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BoldStage website and courses (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Use of the service

You agree to use the Service lawfully, respectfully, and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not copy, resell, or redistribute course materials, and you must not attempt to interfere with the availability or security of the Service.

Acceptable use

  • Use the Service for personal learning and professional development.
  • Respect instructors, learners, and community members.
  • Provide accurate information when creating accounts or making purchases.

Prohibited activities

  • Sharing access credentials, bypassing paywalls, or enabling unauthorized access.
  • Copying, recording, scraping, or redistributing any content without written permission.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or other abusive behavior.
  • Uploading malware, probing vulnerabilities, or attempting unauthorized access.

Accounts

If you create an account, you must keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including purchases, course progress, and communications.

  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Do not reuse passwords across services; enable device security where possible.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Payments and refunds

Prices are displayed before checkout. By completing a purchase, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge the payment method provided. Taxes may apply depending on your location.

On‑demand courses

Refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if less than 10% of the course has been completed (as measured by lesson progress).

Live cohorts

Refunds are available up to 3 days before the cohort start date. After that, refunds may be denied due to limited seats and scheduling commitments.

How to request a refund

  1. Email [email protected] from the email associated with your account.
  2. Include your purchase details (course name, purchase date) and the reason for the request.
  3. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and may request verification.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Content and IP

All content on the Service—including videos, worksheets, text, branding, and course structure—is owned by BoldStage or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the purchased content for personal learning. This license does not allow you to:

  • Reproduce or distribute materials to others (including colleagues or teams) without permission.
  • Create derivative works or publish content as your own.
  • Use content for commercial training, resale, or public performance.

Disclaimers

We provide training “as-is” and “as available” with reasonable care. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, earnings, employment, audience growth, or performance results. Your results depend on many factors including effort, experience, and circumstances beyond our control.

Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., payment processors, video hosting). We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their policies.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoldStage will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to BoldStage for the specific purchase giving rise to the claim, during the 12 months prior to the event.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or used the Service unlawfully. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, or business practices. The “Last updated” date indicates when the latest changes were made. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
